139 cm, fivegaited with natural Tolt
Keila (feminine form of Keilir, ”Vulcano”) is a daughter of the young honour stallion Keilir fra Midsitju out of the legendary Ofeigur 882 fra Flugumyri. Keilir has proven himself already as a young stallion, producing a large percentage of prize horses. The Ofeigur line has produced many horses that have great work ethics and are superior gaedingur. Keila shows good lift and willingness, is athletic, responsive to Rider´s aids, legyields, backs, collects nicely, compact and well proportioned, Smooth Tolt and Trot and super canter up to very fast speed. She loves the trail and can go on forever without tiring. See her 2005 filly Lydia by 1. prize stallion Erill fra Sperdli. Keila is one of Ellen´s favourite riding horses and part of our Breeding Program, not for Sale. She will be bred by our stallion Prins fra Fitjamyri in the 2006 season.
