Prins is a beautiful, young stallion who stands out from the herd, not only because of his color. This boy has charisma for three! He was born 2001 to Pia fra Fitjamyri out of Bragur fra Midsitju . Bragur´s grandfather is Nattfari fra Ytra - Dalsgerdi, a well known Sortli far Saudarkroki son with a 9.08 score for rideability (a perfect 10 for Flying Pace). Grandsire on the dam´s side is Fengur fra Stokkseyri, a 1. prize fourgaited imported stallion out of the stunning Ljóri fra Kirkjubæ. Great color for breeding; he carries the Silver gene and Pinto gene on a black base. Fivegaited with super color, big mane and a spunky yet super friendly character. He was selected for his outstanding temperament and natural gaits as well as color and upright conformation. Prins is the only Silver Dapple Black Pinto Stallion in North America and was evaluated for conformation in Fall 2005. Started under saddle with very smooth gaits, great Rocking Chair Canter, very willing to please and safe on the trail. Carries himself very well.
Prins will add refinement, smoothness of gaits, an upright front end with good lateral abilities and color. His legs are straight and his hooves are excellent quality. He is extremely intelligent and people friendly and shows average lift and very smooth gaits; his easy Rocking Chair Canter is very comfortabel and he is a flexible and soft horse to ride. He is naturally balanced and upright and will be a great choice for fourgaited mares that lack lateral abilities or fivegaited mares that lack a good canter. He is not a good choice for mares that are very limited in their speed range in the gaits and have small movements.
