07.07.2008 11:20:18, A.M. It casts a shadow on a very good Landsmót that Ástríða frá Feti, one of the farms youngest breeding mares, got a bad infection and was killed this morning. Ástríða was out of Ásdís frá Neðra-Ási and Orri frá Þúfu. This is a huge shock to us. Ástríða was only six years old and a very promising breeding mare, her mother Ásdís is one of Fet’s greatest breeding mares, she’s the mother of Vigdís frá Feti, Vilmundur’s mother. Ástríða had a foal this spring sired by Samber frá Ásbrú. We are trying really hard to let another mare adopt him to save this beautiful foal.
