Glampi has done very well in the contest ring, making it into the finals at both the 1998 and the 2000 Landsmot in the 4-Gait Riding Horse Event. He has participated in various happenings, such as the Ice Tolt Contest and shows in the Riding Hall. An article about him was published in Eidfaxi 05/2001, under the title “A horse of the people”. |

Glampi’s offspring are medium in size with a long and rough head but good eyes. The neck is usually well carried with high withers, loose but deep. The midsection is straight and the croup is deep and powerful and the horses are highly built. Leg quality is good with powerful tendons. Back legs are narrow but straight, front legs have toes out, hooves are deep and solid but mane and tail quality is limited. Glampi’s offspring have a very high action in tölt and trot, pace is good if can be found and the gallop high and elastic. They have a demanding spirit but are manageable and look good under rider.
Glampi’s offspring are not pretty but they are well carried and have long legs, both 4- and 5-gaited horses, a very high action is what they are known for. Glampi received first price for offspring and the sixth place.
