I bought Freydís in 2003 as a yearling from a dispersal sale in Canada, and I feel I have quite a find. She is five gaited, and her sire, Flugur frá Skalakoti, is a son of Orri frá Þufu, currently THE top breeding stallion in Iceland. Her dam is very tall at nearly 14 hands, and though I do not expect this filly to reach that height, I think she will be around 13.2. She has supple movement with high, reaching action and is spirited but friendly. I look forward to training her under saddle in early 2006, but she will probably be for sale.
